What is the MBU-BT™?

The Mobile Biometric Unit - BioTime (MBU-BT)™ is a rugged, modular, easy to deploy and configure, portable biometric time and attendance system based on biometric fingerprint technology.

Why do I need it?

The MBU-BT™ is ideal for deployment in areas where you need a powered biometric time and attenance system in an easy to carry and deploy package. Some of the benefits include:

o Contains a full laptop computer capable of running our BioTime time and attendance system.

o Has enough space to support a variety of configurations, including, full finger sensors, high resolution web cameras, LAN connection or a cellular communication connection e.g. GPRS.

o Housed in a ruggedized case that is completely water-resistant, with an automatic pressure valve, that can survive most harsh environments in the world.

Transportable Case

The MBU-BT™is housed within a rugged, watertight, crush and dustproof case, such as the Pelican 1610. It has several fold-down handles as well as an extension handle and wheels for ease of transport.

Laptop Computer

Any laptop computer can be installed to specification as needed. For most applications a 14” system from manufacturers such as Dell, HP, or Toshiba are used.

Biometric Fingerprint Scanner

A variety of biometric fingerprint scanners can be installed into the MBU-BT™ such as:

o BioLink U-Match 3.5

USB Camera

A high-resolution USB camera, such as the Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 is used to add digital images for enrolled users.
